I'm not sure I'll be supporting 10.4. The current minimum is 10.5 (PPC/Intel).
You better upgrade to 10.5 at some point as Apple itself does not support 10.4 anymore, and many software companies do not develop for 10.4 as well.

It's much easier to stick to Intel only and 10.5 upwards.
No problem for me, I like your web version which runs on virtually any platform.
The upgrade path is blocked for me, since G4 @800 MHz does not fulfil the minimum requirement for 10.5.
I know that there are hacks around which would bypass this limit - but up to now I feel rather comfortable with 10.4.
This may change after 10.4 is no longer supported. But since there's still no matte display within the current subnotebook range, I might either stick to the old iBook or change platform.
New MacBook without firewire?

traut,
I have an old Macbook (1.83GHz) and old iBook G4 933MHz. Both are running 10.5. I use Firewire a lot so I'm keeping my old machines.
You are right about the hack (Apple is more weird than Microsoft), but if your machine has at least 1GB of RAM, I think it's worth to switch to 10.5.

I mostly care about CPU and OS version, so your setup is good enough.
I just added you.
