Had five items in a group. The group was set to win one. I won two and had to pay for both. Both Auctions concluded at the same time.. is that why ?

Correct. When you have a limit for groups, auctions can not be finishing at the same time. The system need some time for auction to be finished and decide who is the winner.

I just ran into the same problem. Live and learn I guess. It would be nice if there was a warning or myibay was smart enough not to bid on both.

Unfortunately myibay can not guess how many items you need to win.
I have many bidders who use groups to win more than one item.
If you wish to have a default limit (let's say "1 item"), then you can change it in your Profile.

Ah, I didn't realize there was a setting for that. I just assumed that groups were meant to only win one. User error I guess.
To be fair, I recognized the potential for a problem so I set the "My time" lead times to different times in a hope that would help myibay out. Obviously I didn't understand exactly what I was doing.
myibay is a great service. Thanks!
